Bob Yates, Senior Pastor of Living Praise, is a man in love with God and committed to sharing a clear presentation of the Word of God to this generation. Pastor Yates believes and promotes the fact that every believer has the right and privilege to experience God personally as well as spiritually ---- in a ‘Living’ way.
The Word of God declares that supernatural signs & wonders follow the people who are totally sold out to God’s way and His word, and ‘Miracles’ are no stranger to the services at Living Praise!

The writer of Hebrews has stated, by the power and inspiration of the Holy Spirit, that ‘faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen,’ so we find that hope is a very real commodity and can be measured by the quantity and the quality of faith functioning by and through it.
The Syrophenician woman of Elijah’s day (I Kings 17) is a good example of hope functioning by faith. The prophet Elijah came to this woman at the instruction of the Lord. He found the woman near the city gate as he entered town and asked her for a drink of water to quench his thirst. As the woman turned to accomplish his request he added, “And bring me something to eat, when you return!” The woman’s reply was that she only possessed a handful of meal and enough oil to make a small cake, which she intended to share with her son and they two would then famish and die. Elijah told the woman to feed him first, and then she could feed herself and her son. The woman did as the prophet instructed and, thereafter, the barrel of meal and the cruse of oil did not fail to provide for her needs throughout the 3 ½ years of draught and its resulting famine.
While it is necessary and of great reward for each of us to study and allow others in the faith to encourage us with their testimonies and teachings, we must not miss the exclusive blessing of being in such a particular and exquisite place as to receive our own instruction from the Lord, whether it comes in the form of revelation or inspiration, or in the form of a vision or dream.
Hope is, in and of itself, the very manifestation of anticipation that makes faith a reality. We must have hope, but what do we hope for? We hope for those things that are ‘breathed’ into our consciousness by the inspiration of the Lord as we wait in His presence and ponder the wonders of His fellowship. Many a life has been spent in its entirety fueled to success by a single inspired moment. Your moment may be in the very next experience of singular devotion to simply touch the Lord and tell Him how much you love your time together with Him.
The lyrics of an old hymn goes, “My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness (confidence in covering my past), I care not what the world proclaims I only trust in Jesus’ name (confidence in my present), On Christ the solid rock I stand all other ground is sinking sand (building on the future).
Hope is all-inclusive in sealing our past, sustaining our present, and building for us anticipated success with God! Go ahead! Get in God’s presence with a determined effort of adoration and let your hope soar!
